For Owners

Don’t swim in the same seas as inferior ships: seek out a better market for your ships.

You have reinvested hard earned capital in your ships to retrofit them or you simply have a modern well-managed ship. You have done the right thing to reduce carbon emissions, your ship has superior fuel efficiency, all to make it more attractive in the marketplace. But you find that your ship is simply thrown into the general marketplace mix and with it being leveraged against all the other available out there where owners either haven’t invested in better performing ships and/or simply do not manage the ships as well as you do. It’s time that this changed.

Our value proposition to you.

Let us market your ships to charterers who are looking for your best-in-class ship. Some charterers will pay more for better performing ships. They are looking to raise their corporate profiles to satisfy ESG profiles. If you have the right ship they will come – but they need to know where to look. A natural outcome should be that a segmented marketplace should exist for these two likeminded parties to come together. Take the opportunity to cut to the chase and market you ship in the right place. FUTURESHIPS intends to facilitate that marketplace.

Contact us and show us your high-performing ships.

SHIPPING MEDIATION

We offer independent professional mediation services to shipping companies and commodities traders alike. Our services are delivered with impartiality and full integrity.

What is Mediation?

Mediation is a confidential, consensual and without prejudice process that allows participants to explore a full range of potential solutions, often commercial in nature. The mediator acts as a “neutral” employing the use of principled negotiation* based upon reason and objective criteria. Mediation can be held in-person or by video online which is especially useful in saving time and costs for geographically dispersed participants.

*Principled Negotiation was made famous by Fisher and Ury of the Harvard Negotiation Project in their book Getting to Yes, and others.
